Purpose
The Ecumenical Grants of the Synod of the Northeast offer a dynamic and inspiring opportunity to bring people of faith together in transformative and meaningful ways. Designed to foster collaboration and deepen relationships, this grant supports ministries, congregations, and presbyteries as they move beyond denominational boundaries to live out a shared commitment to justice, reconciliation, and a collective witness to Christ’s love in the world.
Rooted in the Synod’s vision for connectional ministry, this grant is more than a funding opportunity—it is a call to action. A call to build bridges across traditions. A call to listen deeply, learn generously, and grow together with ecumenical partners. A call to embody the unity to which Christ invites us in the Gospel.
Through intentional and creative collaboration, these grants cultivate vibrant networks where faith communities unite around common purpose and shared passion.
