Synod of the Northeast

Mary Wallingford Trust Grant

The Mary Wallingford Trust Grant supports the training and development of pastors and leaders from among the people serving in smaller Presbyterian congregations.

Purpose

The Mary Wallingford Trust Grant supports the training and development of pastors and  leaders from among the people serving in smaller Presbyterian congregations. Through this grant, congregations may receive financial assistance to participate in conferences, continuing education opportunities, or to invite experienced leaders to provide training or special programming within the congregation.

By investing in leadership development, this grant seeks to strengthen congregational vitality, equip church leaders for faithful ministry, and foster stronger connections between local congregations and the wider Presbyterian Church.

Small congregations often face limited resources for leadership development. The Mary Wallingford Trust Grant seeks to help remove that barrier by providing modest financial support that can open doors to meaningful learning opportunities and new ministry possibilities.
