Matthew 25 In Action : Summer Entrepreneurship Program

Trinity Presbyterian Church used its Synod grant to support its summer entrepreneur program. This year, young entrepreneurs learned about business leadership and community activism by developing a business plan for a youth-run farm market located in Montclair, NJ.  Every Saturday from July 23 to August 27 they ran the farm market selling produce they grew, as well as products purchased directly from farmers. Also, every Saturday, they donated produce to the local soup kitchen/food pantry named Toni's Kitchen. The youth entrepreneurs will receive a stipend and compensation from the revenues of the market. Our closing ceremony was Sunday, Sept 11 at 3pm.
