Youth Leadership Development Grant Funds Are Available!

The Synod Mission and Ministries Commission is excited to announce the availability of Synod grant funds for Youth Leadership Development. The dedicated funds - $30,000 in total – were set aside from Innovation grant funds with the purpose of supporting initiatives to empower youth as leaders within their congregations and beyond. The funds available for 2021 have an application deadline of August 20, 2021. Funding decisions will be made at the mid-September Synod Commission meeting. Beginning in 2022, Youth Leadership Development Grant applications will shift to a January 10 application deadline with funding decisions made at the late January/early February Synod Commission Meeting. This adjustment to the grant cycle is intended to accommodate requests for funding for summer programs so that notification of funding is received well before these programs begin.
